Carl Lumbly is coming back to television! After his recent stint on A&E’s The Returned, Lumbly has joined the cast of CBS’ summer event series ZOO, based on the best-selling novel by James Patterson. Lumbly plays Delavane, an enigmatic Interpol agent embedded within the hierarchy of the General Secretariat, who takes matters into his own hands when faced with what he believes to be a global animal crisis. Basically, the series is about every animal on Earth going primal.
The series debuts on June 30, and you can check out a trailer for the series below. Unfortunately, Lumbly does not appear in the trailer.
