If you’ve been watching the new Star Trek series Picard on CBS All Access, you likely saw a familiar face in the first episode: Francie Calfo herself, Merrin Dungey! We even have a clip from her appearance!
Dungey, who has been busy recently with appearances on Once Upon a Time, The Resident, and Little Big Lies, is now part of the Star Trek universe.
Of course, she isn’t the only Alias alumni to head over to the final frontier. J.J. Abrams has headed up the new “Kelvin Timeline” series of Star Trek films as director for two movies, and actor Greg Grunberg has appeared in two of them.
In the first episode, Dungey plays a reporter who interviews a now-retired Picard about the events that caused him to leave Starfleet.
