Yahoo TV has been publishing a list of the top 99 TV characters since Tony Soprano hit TV screens in 1999. I usually hate lists like this as totally pointless, and I wonder why they set Tony Soprano as a starting point to begin with. However, they put Jennifer Garner’s Sydney Bristow on the list, so we’re mentioning it here.
They put Syd at #51, which we think is still too low, considering she set off the modern TV trend of “girl power” roles that are everywhere today. Of course, we’re a bit biased.
