David Anders has been a busy man. After his stints on Heroes and 24, the actor formerly known as Sark is now joining the cast of the WB’s Vampire Diaries. He will play Elena and Jeremy’s uncle, Jonathan Gilbert, and will appear for at least several episodes beginning in April.
