Michael Vartan has chimed in on the whole Alias reboot rumors, and he ain’t happy. Actually, he’s joking about it, but he thinks the whole idea is kind of silly. “I’m still young enough to run down a hallway, and so is Jennifer [Garner]. What is this nonsense of recasting Alias? Give us 20 years at least. How dare they?”
Vartan is currently doing press interview for the second season of Hawthorne, which premieres June 22 on TNT. He doesn’t think the main cast members would return for a show if they continued the original storyline, and he doesn’t even think he would guest star on a continuation that focuses on new characters. “I would say, ‘Go with God’ and do something else. There’s only one Jack Bristow and Sydney Bristow.”
